I finally saw this for the first time on Broadway yesterday and I honestly loved it. It has this kind of 20s and 30s extravagant feel to it while also having a plot that doesn't do everything expectantly. It was a simple story yes, but it didn't fall into all the tropes I expected it to. I'd recommend it to anyone, man or woman, young or old.
