[center][b]The Lei Áurea (Golden Law): One Year Later[/b][/center] 
It has been a year since the Lei Áurea has been signed and ratified by the Asamblea General (General Assembly), freeing 1.6 million African Americans. But things were hard for them as they try to get a job, or a house, or either food as the (Senado) Senate forgot to address them economic, political, and social status. Leaving millions of African Americans to become poor and jobless as some business still refuse to hire them; but, it's only a handful of businesses. Juliana Rocha, a mother of three children and a widow, has been looking for a job for a year and still lives in the government houses. "We are thankful that we are free, but I haven't had a job in a year; because, of my social status have-not been made and I get rejected as soon as I walk in any place." said Rocha as she wants the government to fix the issues before it's too late... 

[center] [b] Is the Emperor planning to expand into the territory of Britain?[/b][/center] 
Since the death of Queen Victoria in England, many of the Queen's colonies has either has independence or have gone rogue, so has the colonies in South America (above Brazil and near the France colony), due to not having a stable government to take control. Rumors are that the Emperor plans to send the army to take control of it, but they haven't been confirmed or not...

Brazilians, today marks an important day in history as [b]we are on the issues about African Americans getting economic, political, and social status[/b]. We’re hoping that we get done with addressing those things by the end of the year. 

As for Britain, I’m sorry about the lost of Victoria and I hope that she is with God. Since you lost your colony in South America, [b]we are asking you if we can take it and care for it[/b]. I have sent the army to the border to make such that the colony is captured and secured; but if you decline our request, we‘ll pull our army out. Mr. Edward, I hope that you take care of the country’s issues before it spills into another civil war.
