Alex looked up when Mrissi started to speak to Devon and him about showing them where they could sleep. Nodding when the Human said the octopus was sentient "yeah, the octopus can actually talk telepathically, I heard it, said the Human is a good guy, its why I decided to give him doubt and thus not act as before" with Doubt he meant, the benefit of the doubt. Actually Alex had thought that Mrissi at least had heard the octopus as well, but it seemed he was mistaken. As Devon leaned closer to the younger sister. Alex watched him with keen eye's, he would keep his word, give the man's intentions doubt, but it would not mean that he will trust him right of the bat, he knew better. He may not be anything of the younger sister, but she was more of a bystander, innocence, and the younger sister of one of the few co-workers he felt he could trust, so he would hate it if some person, no matter who, would inflict harm to someone like her. He may be an assassin, but he was not heartless in general, he was only heartless to targets, those that stand in his way (but only if they would fight him) and those that hurt innocent people, especially children. It was one of the things that often makes him doubt who he is... Trough it did not help how he seems to be able to switch between Reaper and Alex, as if they were not the same being... Still he man only spoke to the child, he was careful as well, making it seem that he would not want to harm or scare the kid at all. "We both know he's the scary one. Whatever your mother says, or sister... I don't know what she is." Alex sighed "even if you whispered softly I would have heard you, just so you know" Alex stood up from the ground as Mrissi started to walk down the stairs in order to show them there rooms. Then she looked to Alex and spoke. "Oh, and I'll be needing to talk to you later" Alex nodded "understood" He then looked at the other 2. by now It was clear at least that the man would not want to hear Alex's his advice's, and truth be said, he could not blame the man after what happened before, At least the octopus was interested, so he focused his eyes on him. "As you are the only one interested, come to me after I have spoken with Mrissi, I Shall give you all the advice you wish, till then, you can think of things you might want to know so you can ask me" ------------------------------------- Minutes later Volray began to wake up again, mostly as he felt and heard something pull of the crash armor he had made. He looked up, trying to see who or what was seemingly trying to help him when he noticed it was a huge of a thing. A race Volray had never seen before and with the darkness, the shadow and its size and shape, It made Volray think it was an animal instead of a sentient being, but what kind of animal would try to break open an armor he wondered. Realization struck, only a predator! Volray quickly jumped up, away from the thing, surprised at how easy the rest of the armor flew of him, clearly it was broken more then he had guessed, giving Volray the feeling that he was damned out lucky that he was only out cold and not wounded or had broken anything as far as he noticed, he even felt his tail slap against his leg, and that was the weakest natural crystal formation he had on his body. He however did not take time to examine himself, that would have to come after he would be safe from this predator animal in front of him. In a split second he had made a sword on his right arm and a shield on his left, preparing for the chance that the animal might fight him. He watched the thing, waiting for it to make its move, seeing if it would attack or run... ------------------------- as time has passed Alexis had recovered quite a bit of energy, he was still tired, but as he had rested it was a little better then before. Slowly he started to get up, wondering where he was and what he should do next, the planet was pure junk, junk, junk and more junk. Sighting he started to walk in a random direction, hoping to find anything actually, anything at all...
