"Hold your horses son," Was all Arashi said as he calmly grabbed the strawberry by his collar and yanked him back "I'd guess your stupid, or you haven't been paying attention to Rukia, because you clearly don't know how to sense spirit pressure, the soul flare of the Menos there is many many times your own, you wouldn't even be a distraction for it." All too true, likely the Menos would outright ignore the young Ichigo, and the look on Rukia's face(currently a facepalm) indicated that her lieutenant's guess about the young substitute's education(or lack thereof) was all too accurate.

Arashi said this, but he could feel an unusual amount of energy inside of the human, and his eyes studied the thrashing, verbally and audibly protesting boy, how was it a human had so much soul energy? And that soul slayer...was quite large for a shinigami, however...the boy was still nowhere near powerful enough to fight a Menos "Rukia, direct the boy to take care of the small fry with...ah right on time Urahara-San!" Arashi smiled in a friendly manner as the mysterious and enigmatic former 12th Captain showed up, he'd heard of the nature of this fellow from the 2nd Squad.

He was considered extremely dangerous, and for good reason even if Arashi didn't really agree, Urahara was one of the most brilliant and devious Shinigami alive, capable of outwitting any opponent numerous times over, you never knew what he was thinking beneath that friendly smile and faintly stupid look on his face, it was after all an act...Which the former Shinigami was putting on with gusto, acting like his usual 'I'm a huge dolt, and totally not a threat' self. 

"Well, you know my name! I'm so flattered Lieutenant-san!" He smiled amiably and said "We'll take care of the small fry, and make sure he behaves himself, if you would be so kind as to take care of that thing over there?" Arashi merely smiled back, feeling a flush of irritation knowing Urahara could defeat a Menos with ease.

With that he looked at Hana and asked "How are your defensive abilities?" In the meantime he ignored the sounds as the Menos steadily invaded this world more and more, piece by piece.
