As the representative of the UKSN in Brazil, I would ask the other nations to take a deep breath and reexamine the situation. Since the unexpected change of government in the formerly known United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland, misinformation has been flying around in such large quantity that a flock of seagulls swarming a sea of fish would be dwarfed. The key to this misunderstanding is the status of the British colony in Guyana. While the Brazilians thought that the colony had thrown off the yokes of British rule and thinking it was trying to help the new republic in Britain, in reality, the colony was still in British hands, causing the nations of Europe to think Brazil was attempting to kick a man while he was already down. We ask everyone to keep a level head so that no bloodshed will come of it. Once the fifth year has ended, this treaty is hereby dissolved: Article III This treaty shall be dissolved once the above condition is completed However, once that condition is completed, both nations who signed this treaty may opt for extend this treaty for an additional five years. After every five years, Sweden and Brazil may continue to renew this treaty as long as both sides agree to the terms. Alternatively, Sweden and Brazil may also draft a new treaty that would provide a more permanent peace. Article IV By signing this treaty, the signatories (each of the two nations who sign this treaty) agrees to uphold everything that has been detailed above. Furthermore, if one of the nations wishes to dissolve the treaty before the five (5) year term is up (see Article III), that nation must give the other a 1 year notice due to travel distance and the need of rerouting merchant fleets. [X] King Charles XV, the United Kingdoms of Sweden and Norway [X] Emperor Pedro II, Empire of Brazil.
