Rennac nodded and tried to be placating with Dresden, deciding to just leave the rather than get into a fight with one of the crew. At this rate he was looking forward more to killing something than hacking into a computer. Despite the others considering him to be some newbie fresh out of the academy, he had learned long ago to deal with the usual guilt an emotions that came with killing people. It was a necessity with how many times he needed to slit someone's throat or run his dagger through another's heart while with the black ops division. Sure, the Argent Dawn and other flagships got most of the prestige, but it was typically teams like the one he was transferred from that did the really dirty work. He saw things that would create a shit storm for the alliance, did things that most would call him a monster for. And here he was, dealing with a crew who would be more likely to shoot him than work with him. He couldn't help but chuckle at the thought. "Suppose I would deserve it given the things I've done." His ears perked up when he heard his name over the intercom, finalizing the work on his datapad for his presentation about the new security protocols. He also recalled one of the equipment upgrades for ground teams, something that made him happy considering the tech involved in making it. The new model was still in the field testing stage but knew the lab tests showed no issues and great potential. Making a quick swing by the armory to grab one of the new helmets from the crate alongside his he soon arrived at the war room, taking a seat out of the way from the others. He was on the war council sure, but he knew to everyone else they would be more likely to shove him out of the airlock than listen to anything he would contribute.
