Jackdaw grinned when the intercom came on before she could even hear Varus's voice. It was a sound she'd come to associate with excitement, and purpose. She finished her drink and started for the war room while Varus was still calling names, heedless to whether or not Dresden followed. Why wouldn't she? This was another step towards their next mission. When she entered the room she paid no mind to anyone else present. She didn't sit, she didn't pace, she stood still as stone and kept her focus on Varus. The others didn't matter, at least not yet. She caught a glimpse of the new guy, and if she'd cared to say anything, might have been impressed that he was there so quickly. But no, his presence wasn't important when they were about to receive their purpose.
