Personality: Jack is a cold man, his eyes have always said a thousand words whilst his mouth says very few in comparison. He prefer to deal with problems immediately and the hands on approach is a specialty of his. He has a habit of treating every person like a patient and has pushed away more friends than he cares to remember however he has always tried hard to avoid doing this. His drinking has become a large problem in his later years and he is a very bad drunk.

History: Jack was born in a little sleepy town called Worthing. His father left when he was little and his mother was a teacher. Despite starting in very bad living conditions his mother worked hard and made a good living for him and his brother. When he was 18 he went to the University of Leicester to study a degree in psychology. When he was 21 he finished his degree and went on to do a doctorate in Clinical Psychology. During this time he met his soon to be wife. Amy was studying at the same time to be an English teacher. When she finished her degree she bought a home and he moved in with her. When he was 26 he finished his doctorate and took up a first year clinical psychologist position in Leicester Hospital. For four years he was happy, however he got more and more invested into his work and the nights became later and later. He began to have regular arguments with Amy about his ‘affairs’ which he never had. However this doubt led to her having one. He came home early one night to surprise her with take away and a movie however he found her in bed with his best friend. It was a rough divorce and because she owned the house and played the ‘deprived wife’ card she managed to take almost everything. Jack got enough for a small flat near his workplace; he made money back quickly because he had a well-paid job however it didn’t replace the loss in his heart. He worked even later than before and started bringing a bottle of whiskey in to work. Soon it wasn’t just work he had the bottle and Jack became a heavy drinker. This was his life up until it all went to hell. When it did he grabbed a load of scalpels from the hospital and a kitchen knife and hammer from his house. He had always liked camping, something he could do right. Even if his friends joked that he only did it ‘feel like a man’. Though that was slightly true.
