Azure flinched slightly when he knelt down to her level but she remained fixed in place. Of course she wasn't his enemy, she hasn't hurt him and as long as he didn't try to harm her she saw no reason to try to do anything to him. Her red eyes trailed up to his ears and she grasped the front of her dirty dress, resisting the urge to reach up and touch his ears; she didn't think he would appreciate that very much. Her eyes widened when he hit the nail on the head about what she was. She flinched back violently, back pressing against the tree as she gazed at him with terrified eyes.
