This conflict has already caused tempers to soars for both sides of the conflict. Some clamor for the Union, others for the rebels. However, it is in Europe’s best interest to remain neutral in this conflict, lest a war unlike any other that mankind has ever seen will descend upon our nations. Therefore, the nations of Sweden and Spain has decided to sign this treaty, the Swedish-Spanish Non-Aggression Pact for European Neutrality, to show our support in staying neutral in the American conflict and hopefully preventing a Pan-European War. [/center] [center][b]Article I[/b][/center] [center]The Swedish-Spanish Non-Aggression Pact for European Neutrality calls upon the nations of Sweden and Spainto abstain from declaring hostilities against one another if a Pan-European War happens to ignite. Instead, the nations of Sweden and Spain must instead use diplomatic channels for settling any hostilities between these two nations. [/center] [center][b]Article II[/b][/center] [center]This treaty shall remain valid for five (5) years. Once the fifth year has ended, this treaty is hereby dissolved:[/center] [center][b]Article III[/b][/center] [center]This treaty shall be dissolved once the above condition is completed However, once that condition is completed, both nations who signed this treaty may opt for extend this treaty for an additional five years. After every five years, Sweden and Spain may continue to renew this treaty as long as both sides agree to the terms. Alternatively, Sweden and Spain may also draft a new treaty that would provide a more permanent peace.[/center] [center][b]Article V[/b][/center] [center]Sweden and Spain shall enter into a trade agreement in which the two nations mutually benefit each other. Also by signing this treaty, the signatory agrees that by breaking this treaty, they are liable to economic sanctions and public shame on the international scene. However, if either signatory would wish to be relieved from this treaty, they may ask first before breaking the treaty in order to not receive the above penalties.
