Michelle lifted her head to look toward the direction of the voice that responded to her. "It's a figure of speech. I'm just bored.... and depressed," she said. Her hands moved around as she continued on saying, "I mean, we work our asses off at the academy, for FOUR YEARS I might add, and what do we get? Work at a coffee shop where I can barely even make coffee!" slamming her hands down at the end. She sighed and said, "Sorry, I kinda... lost my temper there. Maybe I'm just expecting... something more. Something.... I don't know." She sighed and lowered her head back down to her arms on the table, muttering something about how she should have listened to her parents to earn a degree and get a job. She then realized something. She lifted her head back up and asked, "Where's Oliver? I thought he was right here with us." She had her eyes closed while she was depressed and consequently never saw where Oliver went. She turned her head left and right as she asked, looking for him.
