Griffin could almost feel the woman's anger. He wasn't really surprise. His father was scum. He had know that for years. Still there wasn't a lot he could do about it. He had no power. But getting an education would change that. He could finally get out from under his father's thumb. As long as his father didn't discover what he was up to.
