Val nodded and walked towards Thalia's tree, too tired to run. She ignored the snickers of people who saw her flaming body. "What a freak." Someone snickered. Val whirled around, green eyes spitting anger. "What did you just say?" She asked, tone deadly. "Freak." The boy sneered. Val grabbed his shirt and sent flames onto it, burning it to ashes, but never once touching his skin. When she shirt had disintegrated, sha gave him a fiery, dangerous stare.
"Say it again. I dare you." He shook his head furiously. As val walked away she heard the shirtlees boy's friend say "Dude that was cool. Remind me not to be an idiot like you and get on her bad side." Val smiled and continued walking.
