Eika || Imagineer Mage Level 1 --- Darkness. That was what surrounded her. Upon first opening her eyes, Eika saw nothing but the blackness that pervayed her surroundings, beckoning her to take a single step forward -- and everything exploded into lights from that moment onward. The single step forward gave life to several holographic screens, each one saying "WELCOME TO THE CLOSED BETA", save for one in the middle that eventually landed in front of her, which merely said "WELCOME TO RESET REALITY". ...A tilt of the head came along as she looked down at her arm and pinched it. ...Pain. ...Just what had happened after she fell to slumber? ...She was not one to pass up new experiences. This much was true. So she began to run her hand over the screens surrounding her in a makeshift circle to continue onwards. PLEASE CHOOSE YOUR USERNAME. ...Huh. ...Might as well don the mantle of her old MMO name and start it up. She tapped at the screen, expecting a keyboard to pop up on the bottom, yet it automatically placed her name inside the input area instead. A small murmur came along as she hit the confirmation button and the screens shifted again, this time to show her three different icons. PLEASE CHOOSE YOUR BASIC CLASS. A sword and shield -- the warrior. Bow and arrow -- the archer. Staff and pointed hat -- the mage. Not even a moment passed before her hand pressed down on the Mage's icon, eyes closing as she listened to the explanation behind it's purpose. Yes, yes, this was beginning to seem like the traditional MMORPG placed into a more personal manner of showing itself. Interesting as it was, she already had her class preferences set in stone the basis of preferred playstyle. The Mage is a powerful spellcaster meant to stand in the back of fights and bring down hell upon her opponents with powerful AoE damage spells. At level 20, the Mage may take a class advancement to become a Sorceress, a Summoner, or a Spellblade. Are you sure this is the class you want? ..Hah. At least it let you go back if you screwed up. Her hand slammed down on the confirmation button, and she awaited for the confirmation and presumed "entry" into what would be the "gaming" world. Great choice. You will be a legend of a Mage. You will be given your starter gear, items, and starter abilities. Your starting area will be Espereox. ...And we apologize for any inconvenience that you may experience during the transition. She only has a split second to question the apology before she keeled over on the floor, holding herself as pain opted to literally overwhelm every single sense in her body without even as much as a forewarning proceeding its existence. And she could see it. Flashes of fires, lightning, summoning rings, blades imbued with runes set ablaze...Thousands of fraction-fast images of the classes in relation to hers going through her head before she managed to notice her clothes at last. Her dress had become decorated, something more fancy even, as the threads unwound and rewove themselves to twist and dance into sashes of some sort to give her a mystical form of look. ...And then it was what it was. The slightest fraction of developing light came round as she felt a solid form materialize in her hand prior to her blacking out -- a pain tolerance was never something she was renowned for -- and the only question she could ask in her wavering consciousness was...
