As nothing of much interest came up while Nevea was listening, she eventually walked away, bored with looking at the terribly ugly Hades cabin. It was the Hades Cabin, anyway, so of course it was ugly. Death, darkness, that sort of thing was boring. Eugh. She would have to find out more, but that could wait. After all, they wouldn't be going for at least eight hours. The wind direction that had been keeping her hair in its place around her neck had gone, and so she went back to the cabin in order to change up her hair. Of course, that came with a slight change in make-up, but nothing that took too long. Satisfied with her look, she walked out and back to Thalia's tree, looking around and listening in on the conversation.
He smirked before speaking up. "Now that that's out of the way, wouldn't it be wise to start setting up defenses around the camp? Afterall, with the Fleece gone, monsters would just love to take their chance run in and murder everyone they can."
Her interest was caught by the voice of a young man with wavy black hair, whom she quickly identified as the leader of the Hecate cabin, Seth Zorya. She made it a special goal to know about anyone important. She needed to be careful when using them in any way, even for something little. This one, she'd learned quite a bit more than usual about, especially the colder aspects of his personality. She had to be even more careful with those. As he spoke, she thought for a bit before speaking up. "I can set up ice constructs, which I'm fairly sure the Hephaestus cabin can work well with," she began, with a boldness not unlike her own mother. Her voice was silky and smooth, with a noticeable hint of mysteriousness. Although she weaved sweetness into her voice as usual, there was also the detectable coldness that punctuated certain words. "My ice is naturally strong, but it'll need to be kept a bit cool."
Lucas hadn't left the tree yet, so he was nearby when the God gave the news, selecting a few campers to go on a quest to retrieve the golden fleece. He was fine with not being picked to go on a quest, he much preferred the camp anyways, and he figured his talents could come in handy when defending the camp, and late night bonfires. Lucas looked around at the campers, "How about a party tonight, to see off the 5 going on a quest, after all it is a big one." He offered, trying to ease the tension.
Nevea heard Lucas' idea next, and decided that she would definitely offer to join them when the time came for it.
