As nothing of much interest came up while Nevea was listening, she eventually walked away, bored with looking at the terribly ugly Hades cabin. It was the Hades Cabin, anyway, so of course it was ugly. Death, darkness, that sort of thing was boring. Eugh. She would have to find out more, but that could wait. After all, they wouldn't be going for at least eight hours. The wind direction that had been keeping her hair in its place around her neck had gone, and so she went back to the cabin in order to change up her hair. Of course, that came with a slight change in make-up, but nothing that took too long.Satisfied with her look, she walked out and back to Thalia's tree, looking around and listening in on the conversation. Her interest was caught by the voice of a young man with wavy black hair, whom she quickly identified as the leader of the Hecate cabin, Seth Zorya. She made it a special goal to know about anyone important. She needed to be careful when using them in any way, even for something little. This one, she'd learned quite a bit more than usual about, especially the colder aspects of his personality. She had to be even more careful with those. As he spoke, she thought for a bit before speaking up."I can set up ice constructs, which I'm fairly sure the Hephaestus cabin can work well with," she began, with a boldness not unlike her own mother. Her voice was silky and smooth, with a noticeable hint of mysteriousness. Although she weaved sweetness into her voice as usual, there was also the detectable coldness that punctuated certain words. "My ice is naturally strong, but it'll need to be kept a bit cool."Nevea heard Lucas' idea next, and decided that she would definitely offer to join them when the time came for it.
It didn't come as a surprise that Nevea would offer to create ice constructs. She was the daughter of the kce goddess after all, and if she could make her icy structures radiate a chilling aura, it would definitely help in slowing creatures down and maybe even dissuade them from getting too close. "It's a good start," Seth responded as he crossed his arms. "I can make your structures more effective by merging them with my own crystal formations, which other than increasing the ice's sturdiness, can strengthen the chilling energy that seems to emanate from most of your creations." After a few more exchanges amongst other campers in what they could do to secure the borders, some other halfblood named Lucas suggested they have some sort of parting party. Seth shook his head. "A party? Really? Why don't we focus on the more important matters instead of trying to forget about them with useless celebrations?"
