Bad idea. We have a little, trusted, friendly group here. We could use a few more people I guess, but opening it up to absolutely everyone will not be good.

Also, a couple of us are thinking about making a hub in the nether that links to everyone's spots. Once we build it you'll have to link it up for us. If we ever bother. 

I wouldn't mind if you made it for us tho :D

You could close it off with bedrock maybe. 

And if anyone is worried about griefers, you can put your portal in a room in your territory, close it off with a regular door, and then change your faction permissions to allow door usage for [s]allied[/s] truce'd factions. [allying allows them to do a lot more]
