Name: Siv Lanith Race: Human Age: 25 Sex: Female Affiliation: Jedi Rank: Jedi Knight Physical Description: Siv Lanith Mental Description: Siv has a strong feel for those around her, and is quick to develop a strong rapport with almost everyone she works with. Despite the bitterness of the war, there seems to be no end to her optimism and cheerful nature, making Siv an excellent morale boost when things start to get bad. However, while this behavior and outlook may seem naive, the realities of war are not lost on Siv. Behind her optimistic, sympathetic shell is a wisdom and understanding few have at such an age. History: Born on a smuggling vessel to a single mother, much of Siv’s early life involved evading authorities and breaking the law. Her mother, with no other opportunities to provide for Siv, scraped by on smuggling contracts and black market deals. When they crossed paths with the Jedi on Nar Shaddaa, Siv’s mother was both relieved and sad to let her daughter go to the Academy. Siv's rough upbringing had forced a rapid maturity, while the guidance of the Jedi had helped steer her emotional growth. As such, she was noted for her intense compassion and selflessness towards her peers. With her strong understanding of the Force, Siv stood out amongst the rest of the Initiates as a potential Padawan, and was promoted to Padawan under the guidance of a Knight by the name of Cairon at 11. In contrast to Siv’s exemplary grasp of the Force, Cairon was known for his mastery of the blade. Often, the two complemented each others’ talents on missions and it was not uncommon for Cairon to learn from Siv just as much as he was teaching. The two formed a close bond, comparable to a sibling bond, and would maintain their friendship throughout their lives. Although Cairon considered Siv ready for the Jedi Trials by the time she was 20, Siv prolonged her apprenticeship for another year and chose not to undergo the Trials until she was 21. Upon becoming a Knight, Siv began to focus on a mastery of the Force rather than her skills with the blade. She became a skilled healer and attained an understanding of the Force many Jedi would be envious of. However, Siv's skill with a lightsaber are not quite at a mastery-level; she can hold her own, but would easily be outmatched in a straight lightsaber duel. During the Battle of Geonosis, Siv was sent in a support role for the clone forces on the ground. Her primary objective was to keep as many soldiers alive as possible in any way she could. Several hours into the battle, Siv found a crashed gunship, pulling the surviving members of Castle Squad from the wreckage. She restored them to operational strength and assisted them on their mission to destroy a CIS staging area. Since then, Siv has technically been given command of Castle Squad, although Verco usually maintains tactical command during missions. Equipment: A simple blue lightsaber and a DC-15s blaster pistol

Name: Castle Squad, Republic Commandos Race: Human Clones Age: All members are 14. Sex: Male Affiliation: GAR Castle Squad is comprised of three commandos: RC-1144: The squad leader, nicknamed Verco by Siv. Verco is short for "vercopaanir," or "to wish, hope" in Mando'a. RC-1212: The squad’s sniper, nicknamed Kyramud by Siv, meaning “killer” or “assassin." RC-1290: The demolitions expert, nicknamed Jair by Siv, meaning “scream” or “shriek." Physical Description: Castle Squad Armor Castle Squad wear identical armor designs, differentiated only by markings on their helmet, shoulder, and breastplate. Verco bears three blue circles in a triangle, while Kyramud and Jair have two and one, respectively. Siv, technically the squad leader, has four blue circles sewn onto her robes. Mental Description: Castle's strength lies in the close bond held between the squad members, with Siv at the center holding everyone together. Each squad member understands their own strengths and Verco is able to utilize these strengths in an almost symbiotic relationship among the squad members. However, the commandos take loss very hard, having lost one of their own on Geonosis. History: Castle Squad had a rough insertion onto Geonosis as the gunship they were rappelling from took a missile halfway down. The four soldiers made it to the ground with minimal injury and proceeded on foot to their first objective: take control of a key cliffside bunker that was decisive for the army’s control of the sector. As clone troopers began to man the bunker and turn the battle against the CIS, Castle exfiltrated the bunker via gunship. On their way to a CIS staging area which they were tasked to destroy, their gunship was once again blown out of the sky and crashed before making any progress. 44, 12, and 90 survived the crash, but the fourth member of Castle Squad, RC-1172, did not. Siv pulled the survivors from the wreckage, tending to their wounds and helping them reorganize following the crash. She accompanied Castle Squad as they advanced towards the staging area and successfully destroyed CIS presence there, then ordered Castle Squad to pull back to the Republic line and assist with the front line battle. Following Geonosis, Castle Squad was assigned to Siv’s command. She gave each of the commandos a Mando’a nickname. 44 was given the name Verco, as Siv felt that hope was the one thing that he needed in order to successfully lead the squad after the shock of the battle on Geonosis. Kyramud, 12, was named not only for his role in the squad, but also for his often biting and aggressive personality. Finally, Siv named 90 Jair for his tendency to scream when blowing things up. With Siv supporting the now three-man squad, Castle Squad proved to be extremely efficient at minimal impact missions, where leaving no traces was just as important as completing the objective. However, Castle also excelled at supporting front lines troops, often by destroying or capturing key locations on the battlefield and effectively turning the tide of the battle completely.
