Mira was in the middle of opening another gummy and enjoying the idle guitar playing of her roommate when she heard the loud knocking on the door. She was surprised to see Tohru approaching the door with a grim expression, and raised an eyebrow in suspicion at the girl. What was she up to, she wondered, feeling slightly uncomfortable at the sound of the vicious knocking. She parted her lips to ask Tohru what was going on since she had a hunch her room mate knew, but just as she did that the door flung open, causing her to jump back against the wall when a cop - a stern looking guy - showed up in the doorway. He seemed awfully annoyed talking to Tohru, but Tohru looked like the casual girl she had come to know a little. Out of courtesy, she looked away like she wasn't paying attention when Tohru looked back at her, and pretended to be in the middle of braiding a piece of her pink hair. Precinct? When Tohru finished up with the officer, she glanced at her roomie and flashed her a pleasant smile. Mira wasn't quite sure if she heard right, and really didn't feel like intruding on anyone's business, especially so close to class time. She didn't want Tohru to feel uncomfortable on her first day back at the academy. Luckily for her, her room mate broke the silence by asking what time it was. She exhaled lightly, not even realizing she had been holding her breath the whole time. "Oh... Um," She looked at her wrist watch and back to Tohru, "Maybe a half an hour or so? I'm not too sure as things are always disorganized on the first day." She blushed, sensing Tohru's nervousness after the accident. After Tohru turned her back, she studied her intently as she started unpacking the bag the cop gave her, it was clearly hers as it seemed to fit perfectly with everything she pulled out of the bag. She giggled to herself. It was so funny how much her new room mate differed from her when it came to... Pretty much everything. She didn't mind the differences though, it made her like Ru-Chan even more. She was already winning against her former roommate.
