Personality: He's violent, manic, unhinged, deranged, and he's a known, wanted killer. The only reason he's fighting the Arcane is because he's under the delusion that he's a spirit, and the Arcane are other spirits Hell-bent on taking his fun... also because he can. He's not necessarily trustworthy, and may change sides... several, several times. Depends on several factors, such as "Are there any more Arcane to kill?", "Do I enjoy the people around me being alive?", and "Did Yama offer me a cookie to do this?" If the answer is no, no, and yes, stay away from him.
History: His history is a long, long, terrible one, with tragedy and despair... for everyone else. His family, mostly. He was violent since he was a kid, and his mother blamed it on him being possessed by spirits. Such began his long-running career as resident psychopath, occasionally psychopath-for-hire, when he's somewhat more sane. When the Arcane along, he saw cooler things to kill, and, more importantly, those cooler things to kill killing most of his prospective victims. Tsk, tsk, Arcane. Tsk, tsk.
Other: He is, actually, intensely spiritual, and knows everything about spirit bindings and Shinto ritualism, mostly because of the devoutly spiritual background of his household (he himself went down the exact opposite route, however, but kept the knowledge). What he seems to forget is that if any of the spirit bindings worked and if he was actually Aka Manto, instead of a psychopathic Magnum with conveniently similar powers, he'd probably be destroyed setting it up. Do *not* tell him this, though.
