Vash’s focus on the fiery girl was quickly broken as the shadow-like man in the corner made his presence known. Almost immediately, Vash was on his feet, his eyes sharp and focused as he waited for the man to make his next move. Judging by the man’s words, it was obvious he was the one who brought them all there. He seemed calm about it, but, Vash didn’t want to make any assumptions based on that; just because someone was level-headed didn’t mean they couldn’t easily be a psychopath. In fact, sometimes the level-headed ones were the most dangerous. He stayed still, waiting for more information to come… …Until a fireball whizzed past him through the air, nearly singing the tips of his blonde locks as it headed straight for the shadow-man. Vash flinched, not eager to start an all-out fight between them and him, for a variety of reasons. Looking around, he realized Mokou wasn’t the only one whose first thought was to take the violent approach, as Saber seemed about ready to attack, as well. Thankfully Sazh spoke up to talk her out of it. “Yeah, I agree with this guy!” Vash chimed in, pointing to the afro’d gunman. “I mean, we don’t know what other powers this guy has.” he tried to tell the rest of the group. “It’s best we seek answers in a nonviolent way first, riiight?” he smiled nervously.
