The Daleks paused for a moment, as if considering the ultimatum. Finally they responded, “[i]That explosion would damage yourselves.[/i]” Though they inched backward slightly as they said it, knowing how unpredictable the Doctor could be. 

“Honestly, where do you come up with these plans?” the First Doctor snarked, almost as if he was on the Daleks’ side.
