Kathy: (Love) Kathy: “My favourite would probably be any sort of fruit tart. Apple, nectarine, mixed berries… I can’t choose which one specifically since I love them all.” (Hate) Kathy: “Hmm… That’s a tough choice between anything sour, and chicken noodle soup. I’m not sure if I really ‘hate’ sour things though, just I have difficulty eating them. Chicken noodle soup… I can eat it, but I’d rather starve.” (Mixed) Kathy: “I have mixed feelings about French macarons. I love how they taste, but every time I see one I remember my own failed attempts at making them. Unfortunately they were a lot more difficult to make than other more typical desserts.” Leroy: (Love) Leroy: “La fée verte. Commonly known as ‘absinthe’. I’m glad it the ban on it was lifted by the time I was old enough to get into alcohol. I cringe when I see people down cheap absinthe as shots. Part of the enjoyment is to watch the drink change with water you know?” (Hate) Leroy: “I’ll eat pretty much anything if it’s edible, but maybe jellied eels? Doesn’t look too appetizing, and the texture is rather questionable.” (Mixed) Leroy: “Ever tried turkey liver? It smells bad but tasted rather good. Problem is I’m not sure if I liked it enough to get over the strong scent. I’ll probably give it another shot sometime in the future.” Ara: (Love) Ara: “Hands down, it’s gotta be tiramisu. Don’t you ever let me catch anyone cutting corners with this. It better have all the layers and plenty of mascarpone cheese inside.” (Hate) Ara: “Blue cheese. That thing is 95% offensive smell, 4% fungus, and 1% cheese. And no, I’m not judging by its cover. I tried it, and I regret that decision to this very day.” (Mixed) Ara: “Licorice. I just don’t understand it. Don’t hate it, can’t love it.”
