Connor sighed, because he couldn't really argue with that. It didn't mean that he truly believed, but something had brought Marl to him, had saved him, had prevented him from becoming a vampire, and given him the cure he needed to make Elizabeth human again. Who was he to say that it wasn't god? So he nodded, "Right, right" He said with amusement and nodded. He chuckled, and said, "Did you want some desert?" He asked, to simply change the conversation slightly, not wanting to get into a whole debate about god and divine intervention. He shifted his empty plate, wondering if they could order some burgers to go, and leaned against the table. He knew they should go soon, his face at least might draw unwanted attention, and he knew he'd have to do something about that soon. He had a hacker friend who might help, might get the heat off people looking for someone with a similar description to him. Even if this was a hunter establishment, it was best to stay on the down low.
