Melianth saw the girl didn't mind if she took a seat and decided to sit down across from her to make it easier for the two to talk to each other. Then they wouldn't have to stare off to the side each time they said something and could remain eye contact at almost all times. She was very curious who this girl was and judging by what she was wearing she was under the notion that Alice was probably from one of the academies if Windgrace, but she could not confirm this since she wasn't wearing her school uniform. She would just have to go by an educated guess she made and see if she was correct if she were to bring up that question. "Thank you." Melianth answered as she made herself comfortable taking a seat in one of the seats at the table that Alice was sitting at. She was curious to know why such a girl was sitting all alone with no one to talk to. "Gets rather lonely when you have no one to talk to, doesn't it? I'm aware of that feeling since I know it all too well." Those were the first words to escape Melianth's mouth ever since she sat down though she wasn't sure what to entirely ask the girl. Her mind, itself, was still in a state of confusion and she didn't know hardly anything about this girl. "Judging by your clothes, I take it you're from the academy around yonder? Could be just a mistake so excuse me if I give you the wrong impression." Melianth asked politely as she put her casual smile on her face. Alice looked up from her food to the noblewoman and paused before swallowing her food. It seemed to her that Melianth was looking for someone to talk to while she ate. Alice replied Melianth's first question with a nod and spoke for the second. "Yes, I attend Tharome Academy, ma'am." The second question did bother Alice, what was wrong with her clothes? She's not wearing the uniform nor wear any accessory related to another academy. So why exactly did the woman mention her clothes? "Yes, I attend Tharome Academy, ma'am." Alice said toward Melianth which struck her curiosity if she knew a girl she wanted to ask about. She wasn't entirely sure that the girl that was in question attended the same academy as her, but maybe she knew something about them. "I see." Melianth responded as she crossed her legs before she added onto her statement. "You wouldn't to happen to know a long beautiful looking pink haired girl named Meira Rystaliuskal, would you? All I've gathered from my sources is that she's part of the House of Rystaliuskal inside the Windgrace capital. She attended an academy, but I'm not sure if it was the same as yours since she was an aristocratic youth." She paused for a moment a bit ashamed of what she said. She thought it was rude she phrased Meira as an ariistocratic youth since it might give Alice the impression that she was coming onto her as condescending. "For my condescending words, I wasn't trying to say you're a peon. I'm sorry I am tried to say such a thing without thinking about it. All I wanted to know is if you knew a girl named Meira or if you ever seen the girl around before." Melianth said after she apologized for what she had said in her previous statement. If what Melianth said offended Alice, it didn't surface to her face. The blond seemed to think on an image of the person that the woman asked, coming up with a snobbish looking princess type in her head. Confident that she herself had never met the girl in question, Alice shook her head slowly. "I do not have the... honor of knowing such a person, ma'am." Melianth reached into her pocket and was about to reveal a photograph of a girl who attended the military academy from what she remembered from the past. From what Melianth had gathered from the shards of memories she still had of the girl when she kept an eye on the girl from a distance like there was a fence seperating the two, Meira was not at all a selfish girl like a lot of people once believed after they found out about her princess nature and was in fact a very well disciplined lady with proper manners though sometimes she was a hothead who allowed her anger to get the best of her when people tried to tease her. She wasn't sure if telling her about the girl would do any good since it was obvious this girl might not know who she was talking about. She just remembered the two didn't know each other and she didn't introduce herself which made her feel a bit embarrassed. Before she asked anything else or showed her the photograph she introduced herself, but she apologized once again for her lack of manners, "I apologize for my lack of manners and not being ladylike, but we didn't even introduce ourselves. My name is Melianth and you are?" Alice fought the urge to frown as she saw Melianth seemed to wandered off in her own mind before focusing back and started an introduction. It tickled Alice's curiosity that Melianth only stated one part of her full name for whatever reason, even so, she didn't have the same freedom to do the same. In the back of her mind however, something was saying to her that the noble in front of her wouldn't mind either way. "Ah, my name's Alice Langfeldt, ma'am," Alice said, bowing a little as her position allow. She then straightened her back and this time wondered if she should deliberately acted boring or if she should act friendlier. "Nice to meet you, Alice." Melianth greeted as she focused her attention completely on Alice as she still held the photo in her hand which she was looking at earlier. Her hand mostly loose, but her thumb gripped firm so that the photo did not slip out of her hands. Trying to stay away from trivial formalities, Melianth brought her hand up and set the picture on the table that's when she began to continue speaing to Alice. "Alice, have you ever seen this girl before?" She asked calmly as she slid the picture in Alice's direction. If she saw the girl before even perhaps vaguley the picture she took out of her pocket would surely job her memory. Melianth thought to herself as she tried to remain relaxed. "I don't mean to impose upon you, but what brings you to the castle? Call it just a curiosity." "Mother." Another pink haired girl that looked somewhat like the girl in the picture other than her eyes which were not blue like Meira's eyes approached Melianth from behind. She found the girl rather interesting where she asked who it was she was talking to. Melianth knew by the sound of the voice and the way they stressed the word "mother" that it was Reala. She was surprised to see Reala since she did earlier send her to apologize to the queen for causing destruction in the city earlier. "A friend of yours?" Reala asked curiously as she looked at Alice and the peered at the photograph that her mother had handed to Alice. There was a pink haired girl in it that looked a bit like her aside from some other features which made it easy to distinguish the two girls apart like the eyes and hairstyle. "I'm sorry, Alice. Accept my apologies for my daughter's rudeness. Her name is Reala and she is somewhat lacking manners which I'm ashamed to say is true." Melianth said with hesitation on her face, because she knew it was true that Reala meant well but sometimes came across as a bit too curious. A baffled look flashed on Alice's face before she took the picture from the table and examined it. The person in the picture didn't seem to be close to the mental image she built earlier. Even so, she was sure that she had not met this Meira before. Another voice cut in and Alice looked up to a similar looking person with the girl in the picture, who Melianth introduced as her daughter. Alice blinked as it was pointed out and also felt the hair on the back of her neck raised when Melianth mentioned her name again. "Alice Langfeldt at your service...miss," Alice said to Reala before answering Melianth. "My answer remain, ma'am. I have not met her before. I doubt she attended the same Academy as I am, but if you wish I could try to look for her when I return." Reala nodded to acknowledge Alice then took a look at the picture herself to notice a girl who looked a lot like her aside from her eyes and hairstyle where the girl in the picture wore her hair off to the sides in two poney tails. Reala remained quiet though since she had a hard time speaking to people she didn't know. She had enough courage to confront them, but not enough to say anything meanwhile Melianth returned the photograph to her pocket after Alice pushed it back to her and said she doesn't think she saw who she was looking for. "That's not necessary, but I'd be grateful if you would." Melianth answered toward Alice's request since she felt she was imposing on the girl, but also would like her to keep an eye for a girl like that. She then stood up from the table, "Time's are indeed pressing and I want you to remain safe from danger, Alice. I thank you for at least giving me time to present my case, but I now must return to my duty before people start getting suspicious about my actions. Have a fabulous evening." She smiled as she signaled for Reala to follow her along. The two made there way toward the hallway to leave the dining area. Alice stared at the back of the leaving noblewomen and left to her own business to mind. After a moment, she sighed as she stood up. A quick look told her that it was getting late and that she wouldn't made it to head home unless she wanted to walk part of it. Which meant she would be taking the Queen's offer after all. She would not lie, now that she's calmed down, the idea of spending the night in the Royal Castle also excite her on top of the nervousness. Sighing to herself, Alice stood and cleaned up after herself before she could be interrupted. _________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ "Do the gods favor him over me, or is some demon powerful enough to deny them?" Alexander asked as Siia heard what he said coming down from the tree she was on earlier as she materialized a cloak which covered most of her body not allowing anyone to see her young. She then walked over shaking her head lightly as she approached Alexander from behind. "Not exactly. My sister doesn't favor anyone over you or anyone else for that matter. They are seen in her truthful eyes as all equals though the current intrusions within my sister's conscious may have deluded her original way of thinking not allowing her to always see the truth." Siia answered as she walked out in front of Alexander from behind confronting the entire group. She looked over toward Miia placing her face toward his ear and whispering as she pointed in a silver haired girls direction that was on the other side of the fence, "You can go ask if you want." "I'm just pleased you are safe, Alexander." Ranathia sighed in relief seeing he was fine as she remained under the influence of her new state for a long duration of time. She decided to remain on guard in case someone else came in unexpected so she would be ready to take them on if necessary. When Alexander started to talk about the intruder from earlier Ranathia did remember what direction he went, but she didn't even think to track his scent. It was too late now since he was long gone where she had no place of placing a tracking glyph on him or at least have one follow him from a distance undetected. While Ranathia remained to stay on guard, Meira approached Alexander and thanked him for alerting them of the intruder. She was relieved that everyone was okay and also relieved that none of the information they discussed earlier fell into anyone else's hands. She though was curious to who that intruder was just like the mysterious pink haired girl she ran into earlier. There were certainly mysteries showing their faces in the gates of the Windgracian city which excited Meira since she loved mysteries. This was just one more mystery to add to her collection for her to solve. "What do we do from here?" Meira questioned toward Alexander, Ranathia and the other mysteriously hooded girl who didn't want to show her appearance to anyone. Ranathia and Siia who is the hooded girl didn't know what to say, but Ranathia and Siia both remembered that Alexander talked about the assailant going out of control when he came into contact with Ranathia. Ranathia was unsure though Siia placed her finger and pondered the thought in her mind that might have lead toward her manifestation of the power activating inside of her. Judging by how long Ranathia has endured the state, this wasn't the first time it's happened and that it must have manifested inside her long ago. Siia though didn't know enough about the special crystal inside her body other than from what she remembered from the old Sindel texts she read of certain person who she seemed to be infatuated with, but there was no evidence to why she was so interested in the individual. "I'm pretty sure, it had to do with her power or it had to do with the fact..." Right when she was about to say what it was about her mind became blocked where only she knew the answer to it. It was her obviously stonewalling again as she thought to herself quietly without trying to influence others around her. Ranathia remembered that Alexander asked what caused the assailant to act like she did where she answered as she noticed Siia in deep thought thinking perhaps it was about the samething, "I don't know."
