NAME: Sam Talus

APPEARANCE: Tall (around 6 foot 3) olive skinned, with a lean body and relatively narrow shoulders. He has a thin face with prominent cheekbones and an angular jaw. Striking green eyes and a mess of black hair (which is roughly swept from left to right and hangs level with his eyes) give him an almost wild appearance, this is offset however, by his roguish half smile. He is usually seen wearing a dark brown leather greatcoat, which falls a few inches above his knees, and a simple black tunic, trousers and boots. A knife is usually concealed in his waistline, or in the folds of his coat.

PERSONALITY: Despite being highly cunning, he is generally friendly, but is not the most trusting of people. However this friendliness is rarely directed towards figures of authority or wealth. He is a smooth talker and usually tries to avoid conflict. However if a fight arises and he sees no way out he won't back down. 

OCCUPATION: Thief

BACKGROUND: He was born the only child of a lower class family in a poor area of Indica, his father died when he was only 2, whilst working a job as a labourer on a fishing vessel. His mother struggled to raise him, until she passed away when he was aged 7, due to a illness which swept among the poor. Being homeless and penniless forced him onto the road of a thief, he learnt how to pick pockets and locks, and made many connections in the underworld. At 12 he managed to become apprentice to a locksmith, but when he too passed away only 4 years into Sam's apprenticeship, Sam once again walked the life of crime. Ever since he has been steadily increasing the scale of his crimes, and so too, his wealth. He now lives in a small, but pleasant dwelling near the centre of the city.
