Actually, it is. I only really know because I ran a character with the 'insensitive' variant of Congenital analgesia. Admittedly it's not as awesome as some may think, because if you can't feel pain then you won't know how badly you're injured. After all, what about broken bones or internal bleeding? You wouldn't really know until it's too late.

Though I have a feeling that that's not what the person in question was referring to.
