Because they're exruciatingly boring compared to the original trilogy, besides the cgi eye-candy. The acting is really stiff, bordering on awkward, and it tries much too hard to reference everything from the original trilogy in some way.

And some other stuff. Iunno, I mostly just found them all really, really boring compared to the originals.
