We recognize the Treaty of London and Belgium's independence, including its sovereign rule over Flanders.

The German Confederation recovered Alsace-Lorraine through diplomacy and Holstein as part of a provision in the Treaty of Constantinople that allowed Prussia to use military force. Invading Belgium is just warmongering.
