I'll be honest here and say I'm using my personal feelings to effect the roleplay. 

Mega Evolution will be ignored completely. I found the concept to be a cheap attempt by Game Freak to attract more customers through some "new" and "cool" technique. It adds no interest to the games, and as far as I've seen, did not attract new customers. I wish it didn't exist.
