She still didn't feel comfortable about just walking away when Gabriel and Kenneth were so obviously in a bad situation, but the others did raise some good points. Staying inside wouldn't help anyone anyway, not to mention that it would only attract unwanted attention to them too. That is, if there was even a single person in the entire town that didn't hear Gabriel's boisterous shouting.
