Cora scooched closer in his direction, holding onto the vertical steel bars in her cuffed hands. "You're an idiot to follow me, you know." Cora scoffed, meeting his eyes for a moment before looking down at the metal in her hands. Her brows furrowed. Will looked down at the dirt. Cora spoke up again "I've fucked up Will. There's not gonna be a parade home for me." Her voice cracked, and she pressed a hand to her eyes. "If they don't kill us after torturing every single bit of information we have, we sure as hell won't be seeing the light of day any time soon." Will carried on looking at the ground. "You didn't fuck up, anger, confusion. All natural." he said. "Hell, I fucked up too didn't I?" Then Cora asked perhaps the most unexpected question to him. "Will... Why did you follow me alone?" she asked, also staring at the ground. Will had one answer. He looked up to her and smiled. "No one should be alone..." he stated.
