Gabriel "Angel" Avlon Three days. It had been three days. "Ohhhhh my god," whined Angel, his small hands rising to nimbly tie up his mess of blonde hair, "This is so dumb." And to make things worse, his partner hadn't showed up, yet again. Not that he minded, of course. What he really minded was missing out on the field trip. That and, you know, being demoted in what seemed like seconds after making it into the top Rank. "Ugh," whined Angel, kicking at pebbles as he continued walking the designated route around the school, his violin case rattling on his back. This was dumb. So dumb. 'Since you guys seem so exciteable, how about watching over the school?' the head of the Disciplinary Committee had said. "Watch over the school," mocked Angel childishly as he kicked at more pebbles, "Dumb dumb dumb." A huge gust of wind suddenly blew, as though sweeping clouds that turned the sky into a darker shade. "Aw man," started Angel, his thin arms falling from their raised block position, wiping at stray leaves on his person, "Don't tell me it's also gonna rain." His blue eyes squinted at the sky again, the passing clouds indeed dark and showing no sign of moving anytime soon. With an annoyed sigh, Angel looked back at the all too familiar emptyness that was his designed watch, turning at his heel when he reached the giant tree and starting the other way. "So dumb." --- Ixion Farbrigth "Woah, so we got the roof this time," mused the blue haired heir, looking down at the sight. Yesterday he and his partner had gotten the forest, along with two other pairs, and the day after that they'd gotten the second floor balconies. Of course, he'd wanted to stakeout by the gates because he'd always liked how the gates looked, but the view up top wasn't too bad either. "Man, if there was a demon that appeared," started Ixion as he walked freely around the rooftop, casually looking down below now and again, "I don't think it's safe to just jump down. And if they appeared up here, how long do you think it'd take other students to run up here? Probably a whi- whoa!" Ixion had accidentally leaned down a bit too far, almost pulling himself overboard, but swiftly pulled himself right up. His blue hair fluttered over his face, the clip he typically used to keep his bangs out of his face falling and landing on some potted plant down under. "Aw man," whined the teen, pouting as he fished for another clip in his pocket with his normal hand. Putting on a clip with his armoured hand was always awkward, he noted as he fumbled with his bangs, and he reckoned he would never get used to it. In the end, his clip ended up loose and probably would fall out if he walked too fast or breathed too hard, but Ixion decided to cope with it for the sake of coping with things. "Woah!" he gasped once more at the sudden gust of wind, taking care to cover his eyes to keep debri out of them. Leaves scattered on the rooftop, Ixion's hairclip having disappeared behind him, landing somewhere on the school. "Woah," he blinked, wondering if his eyes were blurring or if it really was that dark all of a sudden, "Rain. Awe man, and we're on the roof, too." --- Kanaris The First Nightmare "Flame of Revolt" "The Mother's Favourite" "The Living Plague" "A Really Bad Guy" Oh man, oh man. Black gunk seeped out of the grounds of a busy street, wrapping around an unsuspecting civilian. Seeping into cloth and skin, the man twitched mid-step. "Man, oh man," he said, his voice changing from multiple echoing ones to the human's original voice, his eyes blinking away the appearance of three golden pupils back to normal brown ones, "It's been too long."
