Personality: Mari is a shy sort of girl who has trouble making friends. She is kind to all, pokemon and people alike. Mari is not one to take jokes litely and is often very serious all the time. If someone is friends with Mari they could expect loyalty. Mari is not person who takes to being called names and can be violent to those who mock her.

Histroy:Mari grew up with her grandmother, a teacher. It was a happy life with her grandmother but Mari missed out on things her classmates did to stay and listen to her grandmother tell stories of before the wild Pokemon went crazy attacking people. Mari didn't hold in resentment towards her grandmother but loved the time she spent with her. When Mari's grandmother died, Mari was one of at least fifty people who could say that she was the life of the room. Mari was thirteen when she got her first job as a delivery girl. It was the first time when Mari had actually gone out and met people since her grandmother died.

When Mari got her trainer's licsence, she was reminded of the world before the wild Pokemon went crazy. Mari promised to herself that she would go to the surface as her grandmother would have wished her too. Unfortunantely, Mari had never had the time nor the money to go to the surface.
