Shalan blinked in the daylight, turning her head back and forth for a moment to try to catch any sound of her hosts. Them Keiro appeared, and there was something more about his demeanor that gave Shalan chills. Ignoring it, she walked toward him, her body tense, almost waiting for him to attack her. At his words, though, she paused, her face going blank. "I have not lied to you." she admitted, standing some few meters away. "I did not seek you out. Your daughter brought me here." She reminded him. What did he believe she'd been dishonest about? Or that she'd kept from him? "Give me the word, and I will gather my things and leave this very moment. No question's asked. I am grateful for your kindness and hospitality, and I do not want to overstay my welcome." Her amber eyes flickered over his face. "Have I done something to threaten you? Or your daughter?"
