From my point of view, the entire war is being played out quite stupidly and selfishly. Most every post is "I fired and did this much damage, and that attempt to fire at me was blocked easily. haha." For example, Duck, you basically said: "My planetary shields were, of course, online and so everything was repelled with absolutely no damage. With these superpowerful shields up, my fleets opened fire and began carving enemy ships apart like a laser knife through butter." I thought the rule [if it was ever put down, or was it just an unspoken rule?] was that you say "I fired this, this, and this at Team B's ships," and so the person controlling Team B says "I took damage here, here, and here, and lost # ships. In return, I fired this, this, and that in a counterattack, and moved to fire broadside for more weapons range and firerate." That's how I thought it was, but correct me if I'm wrong.
