This new found energy coursing through Lexi was something she could only describe as freeing. She felt like she could do anything! She could explore the world, stretch boundaries, see new places and help so many people! Lexi Rogers had always had an amazing drive to help people, putting herself before others was something that was not only a rare trait now-a-days but an enlightening one as well. Her parents were proud of her for standing up for the little guy (come on, how do you think Peter and her met? Let’s be honest) and putting her foot down when she needed too. Though sometimes she’d put her foot in her mouth, like at the restaurant when Peter and Aunt May, and sometimes she’d put herself in danger, like on the burning building; but in the end, if it was indeed her end, she would have been satisfied with dying, knowing she helped someone. And now, now she had a chance to help hundreds of thousands of people! She wasn’t immortal and she wasn’t unbeatable but she held a stronger chance to help the world become a better place, for her, her family, her friends, her city and her Peter… Speaking of the devil. The young figure turned slowly on the high heeled boot at her feet to see that she had a visitor, someone she had been seeing so much of and yet, he had no clue whom he was face to face with. The question was, how would he react to such a thing? “Ah Spider-Man. Yes.” She said brightly giving him a small bow before standing upright and placing her small hands on her hips and cocking them to the right “President and CEO of the crime fighting leotard club, do you know how difficult it is to join? I just said ‘fine, I’ll have to break code and go out on my own.’ You…” Pulling her right hand from her hip, she wagged a finger at him; the glistening of the diamond cut into the point shined in the moonlight, not to mention the reflection of the neon lights from the building they were on. “my good sir, are very hard to get a hold of.” A laugh left her, it echoed through the area but it was muffled by the mask hiding her full lips. A smirk moved across her face as she bowed again, this time in a playful manner. “You may call me Catwoman. Clever and creative just like Spider-Man.” With that she pulled herself upward and handle up both of her hands, the diamonds twinkling in the light. “AS for my fancy toys, being as though I have more than one, I do have good intentions for them. I’m not a bad girl. Just a rough kitty. I can play nice but every kitten has its claws. Fortunately I learned from the best so, I only have good intentions.” A smirk grew in her mask covered lips as she spoke, this time in a tone that made it almost sound like she was purring. “Do you have an issue with that my dear Spidey? I mean, I think we could work together and become quite a team.” She took a couple steps forward, her hand raising up and gently brushing against his masked covered face. Her skill with her nails didn’t even touch the fabric of his mask. “I think it could be pppuuuurrrrrfect.”
