A brief nod of acknowledgement at Varus as he left was enough. For a few moments, Taerys stood in the war room alone with her arms crossed. Thoughts about what the next week or so could bring were racing through her mind. She didn't make too much of it, but for a couple of seconds she completely forgot that she was in that room alone. Only the sporadic beeps and occasional pulsating red lights were there to accompany her. With a sigh, she began to make her way to her quarters. It'd been 3 years since she'd joined this ship, yet it all still had such an alien vibe to her. Varyx were a very new species to the galactic community and it showed with Taerys. Everyone else seemed to be comfortable with all this fancy space travel and advanced tech. Taerys, not so much. Honestly, she'd rather not have to wear any armour at all; she'd already reduced her armour it to a practically bare-bones state. Although she did realise what the advantages of wearing it were, she tried to make herself as independent of it as physically possible and no matter how hard anyone tried, they weren't going to change her views. In the meantime, she still had to figure out a way to make 4 days pass quickly. If anything, the mission was going to be easier than that...
