Name: Cara (second name is Stonewood but she rarely ever uses it) Age: 17 Race: Half human, half demon Height; Weight: 5'2; 130Ibs Primary: Archer Secondary: Knight Strengths: + Has a fair idea of demon tactics and magic + Strong fighter + Easy to get along with + Self sufficient + Charismatic + Loves the outdoors Weaknesses: + Gets offended very easily + Likes to punch people (preferably in the face, or groin area) + Doesn't take well to taking orders + Enough mood swings to make a ADHD kid get a headache + Claustrophobia + No real idea on how to perform normal social activities Physical Capabilities: Cara is kind of on the middle ground when it comes to physical capabilities. She's a pretty decent runner and swimmer. However, her physical prowess shines through in just how agile she really is. Seriously, your chances of catching her if she's running is very low to none at all, especially if you're big and burly - she'll just run rings around you then. Her agility wasn't what got her into Rank B though, it was her endurance and just how much she can go through until her body breaks. Mainly though, it was her survival test that got her from C to B, she did a whole week out in the wild by herself, until she finally returned due to boredom. In terms of strength, she's pretty weak and the bigger students could easily take her but not before she lands a good few hits. Background Info: Miracles are like bad boyfriends, they have a wonderful ability of disappearing when you actually need them. Alexander and Lily Abbot learned that the hard way. Their first child, a girl, was born with some problems. Problems is a bit of an understatement when your baby girl is born with Neuroblastoma, a disease which has a chance of being non cancerous. That wasn't the case though, the cancer had spread through to her lungs and embedded itself in her bones. As good Christians, they prayed for her night and day as surgeries mounted up with no visible conclusions. Alexander's family was a long line of demon hunters and both he and his wife knew of the supernatural creatures. So, it shouldn't have been a surprise when they summoned a particularly powerful one - Dedra Stonewood and begged him to save their daughter. See, unlike the good supernatural creatures, demons didn't care about interfering in the affairs of mortals. Dedra Stonewood was a bad choice on their side though, they could have chosen another who wouldn't have demanded such a high price. For him to heal their little girl, Lily Abbot had to birth him a child, which he would immediately take. They were already driven half mad by grief so they hastily agreed. Cara was a weird baby, she was born a month premature and was a dainty little thing. Lily, like all mothers would, insisted that the put the deal off and keep her but you can never back-track on a deal with a demon. When she woke the morning after her birth, Cara had disapeared. Her disappearance wasn't a random event though, she was carried back to Stonewood's dimension by a lesser demon and surprisingly, her home was made there. The surprising part was that most thought her to become a meal but Stonewood simply needed a heir to take his estate when he died, and he preferred it to be a child of his than the next demon on his chain of hierarchy. Cara's childhood really wasn't that bad, except of course for being raised by a demon who literally had no conscience. Still, she was a excitable little creature and was regularly sighted cuddling hell-hounds (not advised). Unlike her father, she was pretty useless at magic and couldn't seem to get her head around the whole thing. Somehow though, her father put up with her and tried to teach her to some level. She would never be as powerful as him, she was a half-breed after all; however, she could still be strong and intelligent and that's what he strived to achieve. It was on her fourteenth birthday when she was informed who her mother was for the first time. Needless to say, she threw one of the biggest hissy-fits hell had ever seen. She declared her hatred of him multiple times but he simply thought it was a phase she would go through and it would end soon. He was wrong, of course - like fourteen years previous, she disappeared overnight and went on the run. She'd spent her entire life in that place and knew how to get out of it so it was only a few hours before she had reached Earth again. Her initial idea was to find her mother but unbeknownst to Cara, she hadn't bothered to cloak her arrival and had thus set off about a dozen sensors belonging to the Demon Hunters. Getting money was the easy bit, she had picked up a few skills in her home and she used it to swindle whoever she could. Little did she know that a strike force was being launched to track her in the belief that she was a powerful demon and not just a half-breed who didn't know hoe to cloak herself. Interacting with others was the hard bit though, when she went to buy some food for herself she simply stood and looked at the woman like she was crazy until she figured out what to do and narrowly avoided being thrown out. Life was ok to her for the first few days when she tried to formulate some plans on how to find her mother. This was of course ruined whenever a full team of Demon Hunters began looking around the town she was in. She remembered a few things her father told her about them and she knee that she had to run. Cara ran for a full week, drinking as much as she could but finding a lack of food. After that, her body slowly began breaking down as she was tracked. It was probably how early she was caught that saved her from dying due to energy-loss. She got snared in one of their traps. Although she was only fourteen at the time, she had still managed to dislocate the shoulder of one of the hunters when they got to close for her comfort and they had still not caught sight of her so she was still a prime target. When she did get trapped, they thought they'd have a fight on their hands in an attempt to send her back to where she came from. What they found, however, was a sobbing fourteen-year-old who had no idea what to do and was slowly starving to death. When they got her down, she was quickly interrogated and simultaneously fed. She told them a few things that they wanted to know, mostly that she wouldn't harm anyone as she was still a half-breed. Obviously, most demon hunters harbour a bit of a resentment towards demons, especially one who had put their friend out of action so they informed her that she would be sent to the DHA for her safety and others as well, so that she could learn to control herself. Cara didn't know what part of herself she had to control so she agreed - it was apparently a high-tech place so she could not only have loads of food, but she could also search for her mother. Her first year there wasn't so bad, she looked like a normal human so she was treated like one. Her second year wasn't as good, when it was leaked who her father was. Apparently, her father had been a demon that had killed a lot of mortals - something which made her hate him more but made her classmates distance themselves from her. Other: Unlike other demons, Cara has the magical ability of a bumble-bee (basically none) and tries to ignore her demon heritage. Most would think she is human except for a birth mark on the back of her hand that she usually covers up with fingerless leather gloves. Also, she's rather self-conscious about her height. --- Archer: Type: Scout Weapon: Cobra-Class light assault weapon (AKA CCLAW) Weapon Abilities: With some very quick adjustments, this weapon can change from a close-quarter combat expert to a mid-range shooter that's capable of picking off multiple targets. Cara recently began using tracer rounds and tranquilizers to further her role as a scout by having the ability to mark up demons for the long-ranged guys to take down. Has two main modes: burst fire and single shot which allow her to alternate depending on the situation. Accuracy: 30/100 Precision: 80/100 --- Knight: Type: Shield Weapon: Cara only really took the shield part of being a Knight so she had protection in case she needed to reload. Her shield is pretty simple, it's mounted on her wrist in a tight band and at the press of a button will expand up to cover the back of her hand and the lower part of her arm. Fighting Type: Cara knew that if she took a large shield which could defend others, she would be sacrificing her agility so she picked one that she could easily run with. However, it still doesn't defend her whole body unless she uses it to draw an attack away. --- Soul Weapon: Effect: Cara's soul seems to recognise the importance of her agility in her fighting. Her soul weapon, when activated, heightens her senses until she sees the world in possibilities for her to move. Her movement is also no longer limited to her feet as she utilizes everything she has and moves like some crazed-monkey thing. Endurance: Cara only ever uses her soul weapon whenever she needs to get away immediately. This may be when she's injured or another person is injured. Typically, whenever her soul weapon wears away (after a few minutes), there's a very high chance that she'll feint in the next few minutes if she doesn't lie down.
