(Well yes and no. Think of the mind as a computer and the soul is it's programing, it tells it how to function such as emotions, personality, and instincts, etc, Wisp is purely the programing. A telepath would need the mind "computer" to interfere with the soul "programing". But now that I think about it they could detect him but it would feel odd to them, some may not even notice him unless he makes himself known)
