There were a couple reasons why he didn't like to team up. He felt like he was too fast for others who didn't have the ability to swing around, although he knew that she had no problem with that. Another reason was that he wasn't going to spend the night crime fighting with what a flirtatious and rather attractive women when he had the girl of his dreams when he wasn't dawning the suit. And most importantly, he knew that whenever people were around him seemed to get killed, or injured. His Uncle, his girlfriend, his friend... People put a lot of trust in to Peter and Spider-Man. It was nothing personal to her, but if she died while fighting when she trusted him he wouldn't forgive himself. But then he started to smirk when she talked about that girl in school, and although he was curious, that was it. She could flirt all she wanted, but Peter wasn't going to be stupid and lose the greatest person in his life. Then she jumped off the building. He laughed a bit and shook his head. "Lady, I've been the New York swinging champ for a year now." he said, running then jumping off the building, swimming after her. it didn't take long for him to catch up, and then for her to go faster. Peter decided to use an alternate route to try and find her. He swung around a building, landing on top of it, and diving off. He guessed where she would be, or where he would be if he were swinging around. He knew this city better than anyone. And she was right where he expected. She thought she lost him, but Spider-Man had her in his sights. He strung a few webs to a water tower, and a flag pole, still holding them, he started to pull back, then he let go like a sling shot. Before she could realize what was happening, Spider-Man tackled her to the ground. They tumbled a bit, but at the end Peter Parker was on top of Catwoman, who was his girlfriend, but he had no idea. His hands were on top of her small wrists. His masked head tilted a bit as he stared at hers. "Finally pinned down that girl at school." He referenced to her comment before the chase. "So what do I get for winning the game?" He asked, expecting her to keep to her word that she'll tell him everything he needed to know.
