Hello! This rp is set in a high fantasy world with multiple races, cultures and where magic lives but is highly distrusted. The plot centers on a caravan of five oxen, their carts, and a rather old and eccentric merchant. Your mission is to protect the caravan at all costs, until reaching Novan city which is in an entirely different continent from your own. The journey will be long and will involve environmental challenges, monsters, thieves and more!

I’m looking for a couple of people interested in playing 1-3 characters of any background you wish. The players are free to world build, create a race, and involve your own villains. 

[hider=Character Rules ]The only rule on characters is if they are magic users. This world has magic, but it is highly distrusted and discriminated against. If you desire a character to use magic, please note that I will be using a kickback system. Your magic cannot be unlimited, it has to have some weakness, or some failure. For instance, it requires you to eat a certain food to use it, or it could run out if you use it too much and must be replenished. Or perhaps the magic hurts you with overuse. For example if you use fire, perhaps it burns your hands. There must be some kickback to using it. 

Also no god-modding, this should be obvious, as this rp centers around character development and reliance on skills and each other. 

Otherwise, feel free to choose any type of race you want, or create your own. This rp will include Humans, Elves, Orcs, Dwarves, and any others that pop into my head. Your characters can also have any background they wish, as long as they have a reason for joining the caravan.[/hider]

[hider=General Rules ]As for general rules for the rp:

1. I'm looking for posts that contain quality over quantity, although generally posts should [b]at least[/b] be two paragraphs. If you are at all stumped, feel free to pm me and I will do everything I can to help. 

2. Mature themes: This rp will include a lot of violence and swearing. Sex and smut scenes however will remain in the bedroom. Romance is certainly a possibility within this roleplay but mature situations can be handled in PMs or in fade to blacks. 

3. Players are encouraged to bring their own ideas and conflicts to the table, but I ask that they will be discussed through PMs with me, or as a group within the OOC.

4. If you have to take a break from the rp, or will be unable to post for whatever reason, feel free to just PM me. This roleplay can be flexible, characters can get lost or split from the group and can rejoin later. Or, we can come up with a plot idea together that will allow you to leave for as long as you wish.
