Perrin got up from the floor slowly, checking his surroundings. He was in a small room of some sort, but his vision was still blurry and he couldn't see well. Was there someone else in the room with him? Perrin would've loved to ask aloud but his ability to speak had been taken away from him months ago after his torturers cut out his tongue. Perrin felt his pockets for his pad and pencil. They were still there fortunately. The hunter put his hand in his pocket ready to pull them out when he finally noticed the other person in the room. Now he knew what Vlad was taking about. Why was it not me lying there? Perrin wondered. Please, why can't we switch? ---------- Rand sniffed as he woke up, wondering where he was. The hunter tried getting up but noticed he was strapped down and couldn't even turn his head to look at the other half of the room. Rand twisted his arm slightly to try to get out of the restraint, but it was of no use. "Oh come on, again?" He muttered, used to this. Rand gritted his teeth, ready to embrace the next edition of pain. Please make it quick. ---------- Anthony walked down by the stream, heading against the flow. He had been hiking for a while now but fortunately hadn't encountered anyone or anything to make the trip turn worse. He couldn't really hear anything else other than the stream, but he wasn't sure if it was a good thing. Silence was dangerous, because you never knew when something was waiting for you to fall into a trap. Anthony shook his head and continued down the stream, taking his mind off of that but keeping his caution. After a while Anthony grabbed a pebble and tossed it into the stream, watching it skip twice before falling into the water.
