I mean write it into your IC post ("While Haruka was busied with trying to pull her sword free from the stub of wood that it had been lodged it, Ryuu saw his chance to perform a clone technique; Haruka was too stupid to realize that she was fighting an illusion, anyways, and her enraged state would inhibit her sense enough that she would not notice the lack of a shadow"). A good roleplayer should know not to take advantage of the fact that the player knows, if there is no way that the character could know.
