Volray did not know how to respond when the large animal suddenly slowly moved his hand to him and just touched him.
It was a weird acting for an animal to do, normally they either attack or run, yet this one just touched him gently to get a feel...

"what is that supposed to mean, wait, you can talk??"
This thing, this animal, could talk, then that would mean its not an animal but an sentient being??
Volray followed the thing, wanting to know more about this place.
"creature, what is this place and what is your name?"

Alexis did not get the response he was hoping for...
It had left him dumb folded for a moment, even forgetting to introduce himself or anything.
He even forgot to check the woman's aura...
It took him some time before he realized the woman sounded like she was in the same situation as him, wanting off this junkyard.
Still he heard her talk about her being here the next day for meat, so he would find a place to stay.
ending up sleeping in a ally and being lucky nothing went wrong during his slumber.
And then the next day he waited for the woman and her group to appear again, if they were both looking for a way of this place, then perhaps they both could travel together.
He stood there, right outside the door of the butcher, keeping his aura sense up to the man inside, making sure he wont attack him when his aura would turn to, predator like again.
