I'm interested, but I do have a few questions:1. What's the maximum amount of people you're willing to accept? Three other people have already expressed interest/probably already PMed you the required writing sample, and so I would like to know if there's still room or if I'd have to "compete" to get in.2. Are there actually limits to how or how much a person could use magic? As in, are there rules to magic, such as you can't combine spells, you can't learn multiple elements/types, etc.?
To be honest, I had no idea that I'd get this much interest lol. I saw other interest checks barely reeling anyone in, so I'm really surprised! Right now, I'm actually still waiting on writing samples from almost everyone. So I want to say that I'm still accepting. I'm going to wait for when I have all the samples, before I let people go. But this is a journey rp, so it can have a lot of players. Really it's just the aspect on waiting for so many people to post that makes me falter. So if you want, feel free to send in a sample. I'm not gonna guarantee anything just yet. I'm sorry I'm being so wishy washy, I just need to figure out exactly how many people I do want. I'm looking for about a party of 7-10 characters anyway. As for the magic, there isn't really a limit on what you can learn. But as I stated in character rules, there has to be a major kickback from magic, so it would be incredibly hard to combine spells or learn more than one element. Also keep in mind that this world is highly distrustful towards it. Many people have died because they can use it, etc. So although this world has magic, it is floundering a bit and it is rare. It's not something you use often in public, or show off, etc. Which is another problem, I might have to limit characters if everyone wants to have a magic user. I'm not really interested in a party of all magic wielders, in a world where it is supposed to be a bit rare :/
I'm interested as well, but have the same questions as Sen.
I hope the above answered your questions. Feel free to send in a sample if you want to, but I can't guarantee full acceptance right now. c:
