- Kathy - “Yes they are.” Kathy persisted, smiling broadly as she saw Crash poke his tongue out. She knew that she had done that a couple of times, but she was pretty sure this was the first time she had seen him do the mischievous action. It suited him and made it all the less convincing that he was supposed to be almost 2 years older than her. Especially when he showed signs of procrastination. Now she felt more like an older sister helping her younger brother clean up his room. Taking his small admittance as consent to let her help, she careful took out the contents of the bag and began to group the items up on the floor. ‘He doesn’t have a lot of belongings…’ Kathy noted, looking at the bag in front of her and peeking a glance over at the clothes Crash was putting away. Technically she didn’t really have the right to comment since she herself could pretty much fit her belongings into about 2 bags well but she would have expected other people to have a lot more to pack up. ‘Oh! Maybe it’s because we’re only here temporarily as a sort of vacation?’ Nodding to herself at the conclusion she arrived at, she continued to help organize Crash’s belongings. She noticed about halfway through the bag it may have been a better idea for Crash to organize this one and allow her to put away his clothes in the other bag. He did seem to have some reservations about letting her see his undergarments, but now she would have to remember and explain where she put everything away. Kathy herself wasn’t complaining though. As she placed the CDs away on a shelving unit, she noted his taste in music. It was good knowledge to learn for future conversations, and perhaps would help with some gift ideas for his upcoming birthday. Kathy stopped what she was doing for a moment to look back at Crash. “A game?” She repeated, tilting her head slightly to the side as she listened. The actual game sounded innocent enough, but the mischievous look and smile made her wonder if he had some sort of devious plan in mind. Seeing the wink and warmth in his features though she thought, ‘Now that’s really unfair of you Crash. There’s no way I can say no after seeing that.’ She nodded, “Alright, let’s play. I get to ask you 8 questions when we’re done right?” Before they started the game though, she noticed a couple of photographs in the bag. Laughing, she picked up in particular and waved it at Crash. “Hey, can I have this one?” Normally she would have hesitated to ask for any sort of photograph from him in case it held any special memories or the like, but she thought this one would probably be safe and actually wanted it for herself. It was basically a photo of Crash asleep on what seemed to be a sofa. Only the upper portion of his body had been captured and had a very clear shot of his sleeping expression. A slight blush on her face, she looked up at Crash and asked, “Please?”
