After all, the United States was the first country to recognize our independence. I'm going to thank them that by [b]sending supplies, which will have weapons, food, iron, and many other important things to help the Union fight the rebels[/b]. I hope that the war with the rebels in the South ends quickly so we can talk about the Conference of Rio and the Conference of Panamá. Article II - A trade agreement shall be exist and be place on this treaty. Section I - Empire of Brazil will provide coffee beans, bananas, and other miscellaneous items that makes up the Empire of Brazil's exports; while the United States will provide military training and teachers and scholars to teach in Brazilian schools and universities, and to pass expertise onto their Brazilian counterparts. Section II - If either Empire of Brazil or The United States of America want to cancel it, the other nation must be known about it a year before it cancels. Section III - Only during the Civil War, that Empire of Brazil will provide weapons to the United States of America. After the Civil War is over, the trading of weapons will stop and the trade agreement will be still going. Article III - The Empire of Brazil and The United States of America shall go into a non-aggression pact ensuring that neither will perform any acts of aggression. Article IV - If either Empire of Brazil or The United States of America goes to war, the trade agreement shall still keep going with each other until it is cancel.
