He was at one point happily married and held a job that could support both his wife and himself. He's also a war vet, though he'd failed to say of which branch he'd served and what years he was active. Beyond that, and a few things like favorite food and color, he's managed to keep his personal life a secret. His history after the apocalypse however was something everyone knew. Shortly after the collapse of society, Carter became one of three heads to lead a large group of survivors out of New York. Within a short time, whatever food had been available to loot was gone, divided between the thousands of survivors scattered about the city. People quickly became violent toward one another and so a unanimous decision was made to move somewhere safe. The original idea was to avoid large cities, now populated by both the walking dead and those survivors willing to kill for another scrap of food. Instead they would find a small desolate town and use it as the start to a more permanent home where civilization could begin anew. This never came to fruition and after a year of fighting for survival, Carter finds himself in Washington with only one remaining member of his "family" left. Clover, a young girl who's as lost in the world as he is. Events in Georgia have left him crippled in one leg. He gets about with a makeshift cane. Occupation Pre-Apocalyse: Unknown ---- This isn't complete yet. I still need to expand on his equipment and his weapons and find a picture. If I can't find a suitable picture I'll simply describe his facial features. Just wanted to get this up so I didn't lose the work. Also I've recently realized how similar I have my characters setup to other works of fiction. I didn't notice it until now because the two started off in a group of four in a previous roleplay and I just decided to kill off the other two. I apologize in advance if it's too similar. I'm still contemplating on bringing the other two back and killing them off later so there aren't any problems.
