Gin was silent as Effy spoke drunkenly. Gin himself had only take a few sips from the bottle he had grabbed. For Gin, drinking wasn't a way to forget, it was merely for fun. And on top of that, he had to be in the mood for it, which he really wasn't at the moment. Instead he remained sitting in his chair with the cat on his shoulder, holding the still nearly full bottle in his lap. He didn't seem to know what to say exactly, even after she fell back onto the pillow. She basically told him things he already knew, though it was nice to have some reassurance. So as usual, he just nods to her and smiles softly. Flauros poked his head out of the other room, frowning a bit towards Gin. Though the frown fades quickly as he spots Effy, the human, was seen to be drunk already. He then looked towards Gin once again, a pair of bright yellow cat-like eyes narrowing at him as Flauros finally steps out from the room and closes the door behind him silently. The cats had already all dispersed elsewhere, sleeping, eating, probably in the other room. "Not drinking much, Gin? I though you lived to get hammered with the humans?" He asked a bit cautiously, taking a few steps towards the large cat pillow. "Anyway. I know what you are here for and I can help you. But you are going to owe me. A lot. Especially since you two are hiding out here at the moment, you know I don't do the whole 'help me I need to hide' crap." Flauros merely began to talk as if Effy wasn't there, probably because she was drunk and likely to pass out soon anyway. "You can stay here until she is sober. That does not mean you keep feeding her drinks, either. I'll be back within the hour, key is under the mat you said, right?" Gin didn't even have time to reply to Flauros as he promptly takes off back out the door they had all entered from. A soft sigh escapes him as he leans forward a bit in his chair, gazing at Effy. "Ah, I'm really sorry, Effy." Gin blurts out. "I love you a lot, I really do. I probably would have told you sooner if I hadn't found out what had happened before and how badly we scared you." He is quiet a moment as he sets down his bottle by the chair. "And to think all of this could have been avoided if Micael had killed him like he said he would." Another soft sigh escapes Gin as he lightly shakes his head.
